Friday, November 18, The Green Library at the Modesto Maidique Campus hosted the 2nd Annual FIU Language Day. The event took place at Library in Room 220, the 1st floor TV Lounge, and along the Beezeway outside, and featured a roundtable discussion, meet and greet, trivia and games. Many of FIU’s language programs and cultural clubs were in attendance, so naturally the Strategic Language Institute was there. Our own Professor Zhang Xia was there too, leading a free outdoor Tai Chi class for any of the students who cared to join in. A great time was had by all.
