Two of the students from the Module 3 of the Mandarin SLI program competed and won at the 9th Annual FIU Chinese competition on April 10th, 2016. Rebecca took first place in Level Six (of six) for her speech and Ana placed second in the same division.
The judges (and other Chinese teachers in attendance) all praised Rebecca and Ana for their fluency and public speaking skills. The SLI is very proud of Prof Zhang Xia for her dedication and hard work and of these two students for their outstanding performances.
