It is now easier than ever to take a placement test for language learning at the Strategic Language Institute at FIU. We now offer placement tests for English, Mandarin, Portuguese and Spanish by appointment, Monday – Thursday between 9:30 am and 6:00 pm.
The placement test is necessary to determine your level if you have previously studied or have some experience with the target language; otherwise, you may start your language instruction in one of our Module I classes.
